The end of the year is legendary at Unic. For some years now, the Christmas party has always taken place in the Bernese Oberland – and this winter it was at precisely 1,350 metres above sea level.
The event takes place over two days and three nights, is always educational, and is documented on film.
The first day is traditionally dedicated to the Unicversity: a BarCamp in which the schedule and contents are decided by the employees themselves. The programme for this year’s Unic BarCamp included PowerPoint karaoke (ad-lib presentation of unknown presentations), speed dating (getting to know colleagues you didn’t know yet), and an e-commerce battle between Hybris and Magento, as well as 27 other workshops.
The second day was under the motto “Mens sana in corpore sano” and was all to do with physical fitness – snow tours, skiing, snowboarding, curling, spa treatments – our agenda included all Adelboden has to offer.
And what about in between? Party, party, party! In 2009, Unic TV attended the event for the third time with four cameras to capture all the action!
