2009 GfM Award for the Mammut 2.0 Campaign
Following the Best of Swiss Web 2009 in April and the Corporate Communications Award in September, the Mammut Sports Group also wins the renowned 2009 GfM Award for exceptional marketing services.
Primarily, the Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Marketing (GfM, Swiss Marketing Association) honours the Swiss alpine sports company for its online activities and its current advertising campaign. “The new Mammut website and the current ‘Mammut Testevent‘ campaign demonstrate in an exemplary manner how Web 2.0 can be used to attain the attention of the target public within the shortest amount of time,” explained Prof. Dr. Manfred Bruhn, the Foundation’s President, on the occasion of handing over of the award in the Zurich Grand Hotel Dolder on October 27.
The prize-winning online activities were designed and realised by Unic. The core of the activities were online mobilisation and live reporting from Mammut product innovation test events in 2008 and 2009. For this purpose, viral e-mail marketing, social networks such as Facebook, the sharing platforms Flickr and YouTube, as well as Twitter are used in addition to a blog.
Michael Gyssler, Mammut Sports Group CMO, values the recognition by the GfM as particularly significant. “Although we have already received numerous awards for individual campaigns, I consider this award to be the most significant for all the activities we have developed and successfully implemented on the market in the past years.”

Mammut Testevent Campaigns
